Youth Forward MKE is a diverse local partnership focused on improving the success trajectory of Black male youth. We aim to create space for, build relationships with and shift power to young people in Milwaukee in order to achieve more equitable outcomes.
The Youth-Led Grantmaking Project
This year, youth will be embarking on a journey of learning, relationship-building and community impact.
Our Youth-Led Grantmaking Project is a true experiment in shifting power, where our young people will tell us where community resources should go - then build out ideas to make it happen. Ultimately, five proposals will be funded at $4,000 each, allowing them to take the lead in transforming our community.
