Youth Forward MKE Application Deadline Extended

Our deadline to apply for the Design Your Future Summer 21’ workshops has been extended until January 31st! In response to teachers, interested students, and community members, the deadline to apply was moved back from the original January 8 deadline.

Milwaukee young people age 13-20 can access the application on our “submitting ideas” page. With a group of friends, individually, or partnering with an adult, record or write how YOU think education can change to better support Black Male students.

After January 31st our team will review all applications, inform applicants if their idea has been chosen to be developed, and plan a workshop for summer 21’.

All chosen applicants will be paid $2,500 to attend the summer 21’ workshops. During this time, young adult teams will collaborate with professionals on how to implement their plans in Milwaukee schools.
