Our Ambassadors

Partners. Leaders. Decision-makers.

 

Each year, Youth Forward MKE welcomes a new cohort of ambassadors to serve as youth leads. These motivated individuals work alongside educators, community organizations and government agencies to create change in Milwaukee’s educational system.

Our 2023 Ambassadors

  • Cree Ellzey

    Cree Ellzey attends Rufus King IB High School. Their extra curriculars include track and field and student government. A social justice issue they focus on is inequities within the school system and systemic racism.

  • Jy’Nai Geter

    Jy’Nai Geter is currently a senior at Dr. Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy and was part of the Design Your Future Fellowship. She also owns her own business called “WayPastPrettyBoutique” LLC for an all natural lip gloss.

  • Tailus Rush

    Tailus Rush is a freshman at Marquette University and studying psychology and law.

  • Deh Nee

    Deh Nee attends Messmer High School. His goal is to make sure that what he does now benefits the next generations. The area he’s most passionate about is fighting against racism. “It isn’t fair to judge someone by their skin color. We were all made equal.”

  • Kaylee Marsh

    A student at the MATC, Kaylee hopes to “put some big ideas into people’s minds and give some people someone to look up to.” Her favorite social justice issue is equality for any race or sex.

  • Amaya Bauldwin

    Amaya attends the Milwaukee School of Languages. She strives to ensure that youth have a platform to discuss their opinions without being judged. She’s dedicated to addressing racism in the urban design of our communities “because it ties to almost every issues in our cities.”

  • Delonta Henderson

    Delonta, a student at MATC, participated in the Design Your Future Fellowship as a member of the Voices of MKE group. He hopes to guide the next generation in some way in order to help them avoid their own hardships in life.
